We are uncommon, perhaps even unconventional. We have to be to provide the kind of comprehensive knowledge and experience required for a new space-based circular economy, where the only hard and fast rules are the laws of physics.
Who we are
We work to guide and drive the development of the technologies, and the business cases that will literally fuel, energize, and electrify the future economy that’s starting now.
My work extends to policy and standards, serving on national and international advisory boards including NIST, the Lunar Surface Innovation Consortium, MIT Lincoln Lab, FCC, and FAA, with recognized expertise in cybersecurity, space systems safety, and arms export control. In addition, I have shared my knowledge as an adjunct professor at the University of Washington, mentoring the next generation of engineers. I am a co-founder of the International Space Power Standards Institute and Managing Partner at SUNDOGS Group
As General Manager, Regulatory and Corporate Affairs at Equatorial Launch Australia, I play a key role in shaping Australia's emerging launch industry. I oversee legal, regulatory, and government affairs for a multi-user spaceport, leading matters such as launch licensing, environmental approvals, stakeholder engagement, and international compliance.
My prior contributions include Amazon’s Project Kuiper, and European space infrastructure programs: GALILEO, EGNOS, and Copernicus. I have held senior roles at IBM, NETSCOUT, and the Australian National University, negotiating high-value technology transactions in aerospace, defense and telecoms.
My passion lies in building and guiding diverse teams, driving innovation, and transforming complex ideas and uncertainties into successful projects. I bring proven expertise in launching startups, providing critical strategic technical direction, and delivering strong leadership that balances vision with execution.
I am deeply motivated by problem-solving and continuous learning, with comprehensive experience across multiple programming languages, development environments, cloud platforms, data systems, and modern software methodologies. My work has always been driven by a commitment to creating impactful technology solutions and helping organizations grow from concept to success.
A veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq, I bring resilience and adaptability to every project, with experience in 3D printing, experimental robotics, material deposition, construction management, and software development. I thrive on collaboration, innovation, and building strong teams, and I am especially excited about creating new opportunities for on-orbit processing and next-generation space systems.
My background includes 20 years in residential treatment, 17 years as Clinical Director, and nearly three decades in private practice. I also serve the professional community through supervision, consultation, and ongoing contributions to the Puget Sound Adlerian Society.
My career has spanned robotics, space, and computer systems engineering projects. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, in Aerospace Engineering and Materials Science, graduate-level work in science policy, solar physics, and artificial intelligence.
